On-loan Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado launched his his bid to make his Juventus loan move permanent after complaining he was given little opportunity at Stamford Bridge.
Cuadrado joined the Serie A side on a one-season deal at the start of the campaign after making only a handful of appearances for Chelsea under Jose Mourinho following a move from Fiorentina for a fee in excess of £20 million (Dh104m) in January 2015.
He has since flourished for the Italian champions and after setting up Paulo Dybala for a 36th minute strike that secured a 1-0 win over Sassuolo to open up a provisional six-point lead on Napoli, Cuadrado said: “I’m happy to have come back to Italy.

“Here, I’m happy, in Serie A I feel like my game is excelling and I really feel at ease. My future is not up to me, we’ll see in the summer.”
Asked by media what went wrong at Chelsea, the Colombian international added: “When I got there, the squad was already really tight and solid.
“I don’t think I was given enough opportunity to show what I can do, but that’s football. I’m happy to be back being a protagonist with Juventus.”
