How much did Chelsea and Manchester clubs spend on agents' fees in 2020/21?

Premier League clubs paid a total of £272.2 million ($375.1 million) to agents in the last 12 months, with Chelsea heading the list of top-flight spenders, according to data released by the Football Association.

Despite suffering major losses due to the coronavirus, Premier League clubs spent nearly £9m more on agent fees than in the previous year.

Chelsea invested heavily to sign up Ben Chilwell, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Edouard Mendy. They topped the list in agent fees paid, and are now are seeing their efforts pay off on the field.

League leaders Manchester City were second on the list as manager Pep Guardiola added Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres to the squad, while rivals Manchester United are third.
