Erling Haaland's two goals for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday proved he is football's hottest property as he brought his career tally to 100 in all competitions at the age of 20. The Norwegian has taken just 145 matches to reach that milestone - compared to 180 matches for Kylian Mbappe, 210 for Lionel Messi, and 301 for Cristiano Ronaldo. It's an astonishing record for the youngster, and explains why he is on the radar of many of the world's top clubs, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. The 4-2 defeat at Bayern Munich, after Haaland's two early strikes had given them a 2-0 lead, meant Borussia dropped to sixth place in the Bundesliga, and four points off a qualifying place in next season's Champions League. That would put pressure on Dortmund to sell the young striker, and spark a transfer frenzy in the summer, with his value estimated at €150 million ($180m). Haaland joined the German club in January 2020 for €20m after spending just a year at Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, where he won two Bundesliga titles and one Austrian Cup. He started his career at hometown club Bryne in 2016, and moved to Molde the following year. A selection of 25 of Haaland's goals can be seen in the picture gallery above.
