Cristiano Ronaldo and his Juventus teammates have started to step up their training in anticipation of a return to action in Italy after the two-month lockdown. The Portuguese, 35, was looking as fit and healthy as ever at the Juventus Training Centre despite the enforced absence because of the coronavirus pandemic. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner had medical and physical tests before joining up with his teammates, according to reports. Juventus players returned to individual training on May 4, the day Ronaldo returned to Italy after spending lockdown in his native Portugal. He then spent two weeks in quarantine in his villa in Turin. The Italian Football Federation announced at the start of the week that all competitions, including Serie A, will remain suspended until June 14.
