Chelsea stumble, Liverpool soar in derby, Spurs for four: Premier League predictions

Thomas Woods predicts the results for all ten matches of this weekend’s Round 17 of the Premier League. Click or swipe through for each match.

Crystal Palace 1 Chelsea 1

Why? All good runs come to an end. Chelsea, who have 10 wins in a row, have registered single-goal victories in their last two matches and this time their luck will run out. Playmaker Eden Hazard missed Wednesday's trip to Sunderland and might not be at full fitness.

Middlesbrough 1 Swansea 1

Why? Middlesborough just don't score enough. Even if they were to go 1-0 up against Swansea, they wouldn't feel safe without a second and they've only scored twice in a game three times this season. Swansea can grab a point.

Stoke City 1 Leicester City 0

Why? Leicester's away record is abysmal, with only one point from eight games on the road. There's little in their performances to suggest they will take anything away from Stoke. It's looking like the 4-2 win over Manchester City was a freak result.

Sunderland 1 Watford 1

Why? Watford rested captain Troy Deeney at Manchester City on Wednesday, with this game in mind. But the star performer was Isaac Success. The Nigerian came on in the second half and caused major problems for City's defence down the left wing. He should get a start and will help his side to a point.

West Ham United 3 Hull City 0

Why? This is the game when it will click for West Ham. They have a fit striker, Andy Carroll, who should start banging the goals in and even kept a clean sheet on Wednesday against Burnley.

West Bromwich Albion 0 Manchester United 0

Why? Sorry to spoil your Saturday night entertainment, but defences are going to be on top here. Salomon Rondon will cause United's centre-backs issues as will Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the other end. If either side gets a win, it will be 1-0.

Bournemouth 1 Southampton 1

Why? Another score draw. Local-ish rivals, one spot apart in the table. Bournemouth's last six games have been alternate wins or losses while Southampton haven't put the same result back to back in 10 games. Neither side has any consistency.

Manchester City 1 Arsenal 2

Why? Arsenal will take advantage of City's injury and suspension issues. Sergio Aguero is a big miss for City. They have often coped without him in the past, but not this time. Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil should be able to pull City's defence all over the place.

Spurs 4 Burnley 0

Why? Burnley's away record is just as bad as Leicester's while Spurs are starting to motor. A Harry Kane hat-trick is on the cards here - he was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet in the 3-0 win over Hull on Wednesday.

Everton 1 Liverpool 3

Why? Everton got up a head of steam when they beat Arsenal 2-1 on Tuesday, but Liverpool have a lot of class in their side and a counter-attacking gameplan will suit them down to a tee. You just have to compare goalscoring options here to see that Liverpool are better place.
