Germany continue their Uefa Nations League campaign on Saturday night when they host Ukraine at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. The 2014 World Cup champions have struggled for wins of late – drawing four of their past six matches – although they have not lost in 11 games. One of Germany's two recent wins came against Ukraine in Kiev, the 2-1 victory earning Joachim Low's side their first group stage win. Since then, they were held to a 3-3 draw by Switzerland and most recently beat the Czech Republic in a friendly. Germany take on Ukraine aiming keep pace with group leaders Spain, whom they face in Seville on Tuesday. Spain currently hold a one-point lead and are also in action on Saturday night when they face Switzerland in Basel. Ahead of their match against Ukraine, Germany players went through their paces in a training inside the Red Bull Arena. Among the players to take part included Chelsea striker Timo Werner, Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, and a host of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund stars. One notable absentee was Werner's club teammate Kai Havertz, who is currently in isolation at home having tested positive for the coronavirus.
