Porto has been covered in different shades of blue as thousands of Chelsea and Manchester City fans descended on the Portuguese city on Saturday for the Uefa Champions League final. The final, originally slated for Istanbul but moved to Porto to allow supporters from England to attend the match amid coronavirus-related travel restrictions, will welcome 16,500 to the Estadio do Dragao. Many of those supporters could be seen in downtown Porto and across the city in the hours leading up to the match as Chelsea and City fans enjoyed the pre-match atmosphere on a sun-soaked day. There was also a police presence in Porto keeping an eye on the large crowd, while visiting supporters could also be seen queueing for their tickets and getting PCR tests. The Champions League final will pit Premier League champions Manchester City against domestic rivals Chelsea. It will be the first European Cup final for City and third for Chelsea, who last appeared in, and won, the title match in 2012.
