Lionel Messi has consistently been one of the greatest footballers of the modern game - maybe the very best.

Consistency in excellence is what we have come to expect from the Argentine great. But there is something that changed constantly over the years when it comes to Messi - his hair style.

As La Liga took its first steps towards restart last month after the coronavirus-enforced lockdown, Barcelona legend Messi emerged sporting a new look - longer hair and no beard.

It continued a trend of constantly changing hair styles and even hair colour. Here we go through the various looks Messi has tried out over the years.
