Hal Robson-Kanu (Livermore, 80) N/A – His first game back since breaking his arm, he will be grateful to get some minutes, though he couldn’t force the equaliser the Baggies were hoping for. AFP
WEST HAM RATINGS: Lukasz Fabiański 6 – Was first called into action to deal with an Ogbonna header towards his own goal and had little to do until Pereira beat him low to his left. AFP
Aaron Cresswell 8 – A lot of the Hammers’ best efforts came from the left-hand side thanks to Cresswell’s crossing ability and his desire to get forward. It was from one of his deliveries that West Ham retook the lead. Reuters
Angelo Ogbonna 5 – Kept Fabianski on his toes when he directed a header towards his own goal; thankfully his teammate was alive to it. Was guilty of backing off Pereira for the equaliser. AFP
Craig Dawson 6 – Came close with a header early on but he was backpedalling and always on the back foot. Dawson was the defender immediately in front of Pereira, and he simply backed off too long, allowing the Brazilian time to shoot. AFP
Vladimir Coufal 7 – Had the first meaningful effort of the game when he hit an effort from range that was deflected wide. Got into some good positions though his final ball was inconsistent. Yet it was from his cross that the Hammers took the lead. Reuters
Declan Rice 7 – Hard working and consistent, he was always looking up in an attempt to move the ball forwards. Saw a long-range effort fizz past the post and he came close again moments later when he broke free and sent an effort across the face of goal. AFP
Tomas Souček 6 – Tried to get into the West Brom box at every opportunity but the quality of crossing meant that he didn’t pose much of a threat. Reuters
Said Benrahma 5 – Always looking to twist and turn but didn’t threaten Johnstone with the one attempt he had on goal, which was straight at him. Reuters
Manuel Lanzini 5 – Poor first half. He made little impact and swapped flanks with Benrahma before the break, but it made no difference. A shadow of his former self. He did come close in the second half before going off, but his effort inside the box was cleared by O’Shea. Reuters
Jarrod Bowen 6 – Created very little in the final third … until he scored the opening goal! He was in the right place at the right time to chest home Coufal’s cross. Aside from that, one of his quieter games. EPA
Michail Antonio 7 – Was a nuisance in the final third and his movement off the ball caused the visiting defence problems. Was a little exposed at times, but always looked a threat. He took his goal well when giving West Ham the lead, finding the net even though the ball was behind him. Reuters
SUB: Andriy Yarmolenko (Benrahma, 62) 7 – Made an immediate impact when, within minutes of coming on, he headed a Cresswell cross into Antonio’s path, which lead to the winning goal. AFP
SUB: Pablo Fornals (Lanzini, 62) 7 – Worked his socks off and looked a lot livelier than Lanzini. Kept the ball well and played his part in the win. Reuters
SUB: Mark Noble (Antonio, 84) N/A – Came on to help the home side close the game out and did little wrong in his six-minute spell. Reuters
WEST BROM RATINGS: Sam Johnstone 5 – Didn’t do a lot wrong and could do little about either goal. Made a number of comfortable saves. His distribution could have been better. EPA
Kieran Gibbs 5 – A quiet game for the left-back, who made little impact at either end. Seemed to be pushed in the build-up to West Ham’s second goal but wasn’t spotted by the officials. Reuters
Kyle Bartley 5 – Had his work cut out trying to keep Antonio quiet, and was guilty of ball watching when Antonio put the home side ahead. Reuters
Semi Ajayi 6 – Always looks a bit uncomfortable defensively but there was no doubting his quality, with the long diagonal passes, strength in the air and quality on the ball. AFP
Dara O'Shea 6 – Rewarded for his performance against Wolves with another start and he looked solid. Made a goal-saving clearance with his head from Lanzini’s close-range effort. Reuters
Kamil Grosicki 5 – Was grateful for Ajayi’s long balls and his control was good, though his play was a bit predictable owing to his reliance on his left foot. Reuters
Romaine Sawyers 6 – So often the scapegoat for Baggies fans and though his passing was erratic at times he performed better than in recent weeks overall. Looked better going forward than he did defensively. Reuters
Jake Livermore 5 – A very quiet game for the former England international. Was replaced in the second half. AFP
Conor Gallagher 5 – Returned to the side but struggled to get into the game. His first effort on goal didn’t trouble Fabianski but in the second half he came closer, hitting across the ball when laid off to him, but again finding Fabianski. Reuters
Callum Robinson 6 – Another player rewarded for his impressive performance against Wolves and he worked tirelessly once again, albeit perhaps without the same quality. Reuters
Matheus Pereira 6 – Had a very quiet first half but exploded into life at the start of the second. He picked up the ball inside the West Ham half and, with the home defence backing off him, he arrowed an unstoppable low drive into the far corner. Reuters
SUB: Darnell Furlong (Grosicki, 70) 7 – didn’t make a huge impact but did at least get into crossing positions, providing one decent delivery that lead to Gallagher shooting at goal. AFP
