The 2024 European Championship pits the best 24 national teams in a battle for continental glory. Hosted by Germany, the tournament will see the 24 teams play a total of 51 matches across 10 host cities. The action will go on for a month with the final taking place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on July 14. This will be the first major tournament hosted by Germany since the 2006 World Cup. It will also be the first time they have hosted the Euros since reunification, with the 1988 edition, famously won by the Netherlands team of Gullit, Rijkaard and Van Basten, held in West Germany.
