Shabab Al Ahli slipped one place to fourth in the Adnoc Pro League table after being held to a 1-1 draw by Ajman at the Rashid bin Saeed stadium on Friday. The home side opened the scoring from the penalty spot courtesy Bobker Trawally, before Iranian midfielder Ahmad Nourollah fired in the equaliser two minutes into the second half. Shabab Al Ahli goalkeeper Majed Naser conceded the penalty when he fouled Waleed Azaro in the area. Trawally then stepped forward and converted the spot kick to give Ajman a 26th-minute lead. Ajman could have doubled their lead on 32 minutes had Abdullah Abdulaziz been on target from close range, and the visitors punished the miss shortly after the break when Nourollah levelled from an assist by Mehdi Ghayedi. In the early game, Mohamed Khalfan scored deep in injury time as Al Orooba clinched a 1-1 draw with Al Nasr at the Fujairah stadium. Nasr enjoyed most of the possession in the first half and threatened the Orooba goal early, coming close to breaking the deadlock when Antonio Jose De Carvalho curled in a free-kick that was brilliantly saved by goalkeeper Ahmed Hamdan Al Hosani. Sebastian Tagliabue put Nasr in front shortly before the break, the Argentine forward picking up a poor clearance from the Orooba defence to smash it past Al Hosani and into the bottom right corner. Ryan Mendes missed a chance to double Nasr's lead as his effort was denied by the outstanding Al Hosani. Khalfan then hit a late equaliser for the hosts when Appolinaire Kack dribbled inside the area and sent a low cross for the Cameroonian midfielder to score and earn his team a point.
