Another dramatic weekend of Premier League action before the players headed off for international duty.

Champions Manchester City got the weekend underway on Saturday when they thumped Arsenal 5-0, before Aston Villa drew with Brentford.

Brighton were beaten 2-0 at home by Everton, while Newcastle and Southampton fought out a lively 2-2 draw.

The biggest game on Saturday saw Liverpool and Chelsea share the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Sunday kicked off with Tottenham beating newly-promoted Watford 1-0 to go into the international break as Premier League leaders, while Burnley and Leeds drew 1-1.

The final game of the weekend saw a 1-0 win for Manchester United at Wolves.
