England's Euro 2020 heroes wasted no time getting back to work on Wednesday, a few hours after their stunning knockout victory against Germany at Wembley. Gareth Southgate's Three Lions returned to their training base in Burton for a warm down, while some of the players not used in the<a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/sport/2021/06/29/england-beat-germany-to-earn-spot-in-euro-2020-quarter-finals/" target="_blank"> 2-0 victory </a>were hard at it at training. England face Ukraine in the quarter-finals in Rome on Saturday night, and with a potential clash against Denmark or the Czech Republic waiting in the semi-finals. Former striker Alan Shearer said: "England will never, ever have a better opportunity to win the Euros." That pressure seemed a long way from the players' thinking as they relaxed at St George's Park. But manager Southgate was already looking ahead, saying: "We’ve not achieved what we want to achieve yet. I want to get Saturday right and get my focus on that game." “These players keep writing history and they’ve got the chance again.
