DUBAI // Roger Federer will meet Novak Djokovic in the semi-final of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships after dismissing Lucas Rosol in the quarterfinal.

The Swiss ace, winner of five Dubai titles, needed only 58 minutes to brush aside the Czech 6-2, 6-2, winning 12 of the last 14 games.

Djokovic had earlier made his way into the last four without hitting a ball when his Russian opponent Mikhail Youzhny withdrew because of illness.
