The theme road race – think the Colour Run, Tough Mudder, etc – has become something of a trendy fitness event in the past few years.
One of the latest incarnations of such a run will make its debut in Dubai in November.
Called the “Eletric Run” it stands apart from other such road races primarily by taking place at night and producing some pretty vivid imagery.

The 5k race takes place on a neon-lit track with the kind of atmosphere – DJs, post-race concert – that’s more indicative of a night out than a night jog.
