In a mad dash finish, Gary Cahill put Chelsea ahead 2-1 on aggregate, before David Luiz levlled in the 86th minute. Six minutes into extra time Eden Hazard converted a penalty to again lift Chelsea's chances before the Premier League club's hearts were broken once more six minutes from time by Thiago Silva.
