Kobe Bryant scored 23 points while Pau Gasol collected 20 as the LA Lakers remained unbeaten with a 111-82 win over the Houston Rockets. Aaron Brooks scored 20 points to lead Houston. Joe Johnson bagged 25 points as the Atlanta Hawks used a fourth-quarter comeback to keep their unbeaten record intact after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 89-85. Baron Davis collected 22 points and 10 assists as the Los Angeles Clippers secured their first win of the season, a 103-92 victory over the Dallas Mavericks, who have now lost four of six.
Chauncey Billups scored 16 points and 10 assists and Carmelo Anthony added 24 points as the Denver Nuggets beat the Memphis Grizzlies 100-90. Chris Bosh scored 30 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, leading the Toronto Raptors to an 89-79 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. The New York Knicks inflicted the first defeat of the season on the Utah Jazz with a 107-99 triumph. And Kevin Martin scored 27 points to help lift the Sacramento Kings to a 115-98 victory over the Golden State Warriors.

• Tap started in May 2013 in Kuwait, allowing Middle East businesses to bill, accept, receive and make payments online “easier, faster and smoother” via goSell and goCollect. It supports more than 10,000 merchants. Monthly fees range from US$65-100, plus card charges of 2.75-3.75 per cent and Dh1.2 per sale.
• 2checkout’s “all-in-one payment gateway and merchant account” accepts payments in 200-plus markets for 2.4-3.9 per cent, plus a Dh1.2-Dh1.8 currency conversion charge. The US provider processes online shop and mobile transactions and has 17,000-plus active digital commerce users.
• PayPal is probably the best-known online goods payment method - usually used for eBay purchases - but can be used to receive funds, providing everyone’s signed up. Costs from 2.9 per cent plus Dh1.2 per transaction.
