Big blow for Bulls

Bradford's influential vice-captain Glenn Morrison has been ruled out for three months with a wrist injury. The 32-year-old forward ruptured a ligament during the Bulls' 28-26 defeat at Castleford on Sunday. The injury is a body blow for Bradford, who are in the bottom four of the Super League after winning just one of their first six matches. "I am desperately disappointed for Glenn because he has been playing really well this year," said the coach Steve McNamara.

Meanwhile the Celtic Crusaders scrum-half Matty Smith has been told his ankle is not broken. Smith, 21, feared he was facing a long lay-off after injuring the ankle in Sunday's 27-22 defeat at Warrington. Huddersfield's new Australian signing Liam Fulton has finally arrived after overcoming his visa problems * With agencies.
