Late goals from Roman Bednar and Craig Beattie gave West Brom a deserved victory over a poor Tottenham side who played 55 minutes with 10 men. Left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto was sent off for an over-the-top challenge on Gianni Zuiverloon. The Baggies dominated but had to wait until the 83rd minute for Bednar to head them infront before substitute Beattie stabbed home a second in injury time.
