Mahmood Al Zarooni will be looking for consistency from Neebras in the mile Group 1 Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly on Sunday.
The three-year-old Oasis Dream colt impressed in Group 1 company when staying on to take fourth, just over two lengths behind Frankel, in the St James's Palace Stakes over a mile at Royal Ascot on June 14.
That was a considerable improvement over his late headway third in a mile-listed contest at Sandown on May 26.
Neebras also posted a seven-length victory in a conditions race over the same distance at Newmarket on May 14.
Al Zarooni said: "Neebras ran a good race at Royal Ascot and he has improved since that effort.
"The one concern I have is that Neebras can be a little inconsistent in his races.
"He was very fresh when Mickael Barzalona rode him at Newmarket in April but it was his first start of the year and he has settled better on his subsequent appearances.
"It looks like a tough race but he ran well in Group 1 company on his latest start and deserves another chance in a big contest."
Neebras, with Barzalona in the saddle for the second time, lines up against six rivals including the St James's Palace Stakes runner-up Zoffany, Group 1 runner Venomous, unbeaten Group 3 victor Mutual Trust, Royal Ascot Listed winner Strong Suit and Glorious Sight, who has been placed in two French Classics.
Godolphin won the Prix Jean Prat in 1998 with subsequent Dubai World Cup winner Almutawakel.
Godolphin's Magravine, from Andre Fabre's Chantilly stables, will also be in action, running in the Group 3 Prix Chloe over nine furlongs at Chantilly.
The three-year-old King's Best filly will also be saddled by Barzalona.

Top New Zealand cop on policing the virtual world
New Zealand police began closer scrutiny of social media and online communities after the attacks on two mosques in March, the country's top officer said.
The killing of 51 people in Christchurch and wounding of more than 40 others shocked the world. Brenton Tarrant, a suspected white supremacist, was accused of the killings. His trial is ongoing and he denies the charges.
Mike Bush, commissioner of New Zealand Police, said officers looked closely at how they monitored social media in the wake of the tragedy to see if lessons could be learned.
“We decided that it was fit for purpose but we need to deepen it in terms of community relationships, extending them not only with the traditional community but the virtual one as well," he told The National.
"We want to get ahead of attacks like we suffered in New Zealand so we have to challenge ourselves to be better."
