Ajman score against Al Nasr

Nasr, so impressive when they downed the Super Cup champions Ahli 2-0 in their opening fixture, failed to find the fluency and the strikes at the Ajman goal for an entire 90 minutes. They were made to struggle by their resolute defence and man-to-man marking after they went ahead early in the second half. The victory gives Abdul Kader Abdul Wahab's men some hope in the competition in a group that also include Al Ahli and Al Ain, to whom they lost 1-0 in the opener last weekend at the Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium.
