An Asian man in his 20s was killed and five others were injured in a collision between a light truck and a 4x4 in Al Sad area in Al Ain.
Major Salah Al Humairi, head of Al AIn Traffic and Patrols said emergency vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene. The injured were given first-aid and taken to hospitals.
The driver of the 4x4 was a 17-year-old Emirati. He had two Emirati passengers with him. Others injured were Asian.
Major Al Humairi urged motorists to observe traffic rules and speed limits and stressed that young people that do not have driving licenses should not be driving.
