<a href="https://www.thenationalnews.com/lifestyle/things-to-do/2023/11/26/dubai-run-2023/" target="_blank">Sheikh Hamdan</a> bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, unveiled the Board of Young Arab Leaders on Sunday. The project has been launched as part of Sheikh Hamdan's vision of<b> </b>"preparing capable leaders who contribute to continuing the path of Arab development and civilisation" and is a continuation of the Young Arab Leaders initiative which was launched 20 years ago, Dubai Media Office reported. "Our mission is to empower the leaders of tomorrow in the Arab region through a network that fosters exchange of expertise and drives positive change," said Sheikh Hamdan, on social media platform X. "Our mission is to expand this network to 50,000 members, while launching pioneering initiatives and implementing transformative projects." He added that the Arab region's greatest resource was its 200 million young people. "We remain committed to nurturing their potential, inspiring hope and empowering them to lead the way towards a brighter future. “We want this initiative to be an incubator for achieving the aspirations and dreams of Arab youth for our region to return to its golden age in various fields of science, culture, technology and intellectual creativity, and we will provide support to these young Arab leaders to continue advancing the reality of Arab societies for a better and brighter future," Sheikh Hamdan said. The Young Arab Leaders drive is the largest specialised network that aims to support promising Arab youth and establish a culture of entrepreneurship, the media office said. The group will be led by Khalfan Belhoul, chief executive of the Dubai Future Foundation.
