Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, is leading the UAE delegation to the regional summit in Baghdad on Saturday. Sheikh Mohammed departed for the Iraqi capital on Saturday morning along with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Mohammed Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; and Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the President, Sheikh Khalifa, state news agency Wam reported. Khalifa Sulaiman, chairman of protocols for the Vice President and Prime Minister, and Salem Qattam, the UAE's ambassador to Iraq, are also part of the delegation, Wam reported. The UAE is among nine countries invited to take part in the one-day meeting to increase regional co-operation and reduce tension. The other heads of state and government who will attend are Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Jordan's King Abdullah II, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim, French President Emmanuel Macron and Kuwait’s Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al Sabah.
