There’s a new, but unfortunately temporary, workout space in the Dubai Design Disctrict (D3) neighbourhood – Roar by Puma Women. The Puma-hosted pop-up is a multi-use warehouse-style room with Instagram-worthy interiors, yoga mats, a space for fitness workshops, a comfortable couch, a coffee bar (where you can order customised rice wraps) and small retail space offering the latest Puma fitness shoes and apparel for women.
If you haven’t yet had a chance to swing by and try out a fitness class, you still have time. Here are some upcoming classes:
Friday, May 12, 9am to 9.45am: Hoola-hoopla by Flowground
Friday, May 12, 10am to 10.45am: Hip-hop dance by Bodytree Studio
Friday, May 12, 11am to 11.45am: Use it or lose it by Body Language
Saturday, May 13, 10am to 11am: Kettlebell fusion by Motion Ladies Fitness Center
Monday, May 15, 5.30pm to 6.30pm: Cross-cuit by A-tone
Monday, May 15, 7pm to 7.30pm: Commercial dance by Polefit Dubai
Weekend classes are free, as are the special GuavaTalks discussions hosted by fitness-pass programme GuavaPass. On Tuesday, May 16, from 7pm to 8pm, learn about confidence, mindset and psychology within fitness.
And, on Friday, May 19, there will be a closing party, with promises of neon lights and kick-boxing.
