Women are being offered free health checks throughout September at Medeor 24x7 Hospital Abu Dhabi.
Among the free checks are Pap smears (which can detect cervical cancer even before it has developed), breast cancer screenings and gynaecological consultations.
In addition, the city hospital has introduced a free chauffeur service between 9am and 1pm for women visiting the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as Paediatrics. The service is beneficial for women who are unable to drive, find it difficult travelling alone with their children, or are pregnant. The service is only available during September.
