The first Voco hotel in the Middle East is set to open in Dubai. Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), parent company of the Voco hotel brand, announced that it has signed an agreement to convert and rebrand the existing Nassima Royal Hotel in Dubai, with the revamped property scheduled to open under the Voco flag in March 2019. Located eight kilometres from Dubai International Airport and opposite Dubai World Trade Centre, the hotel is well placed to attract both business and leisure travellers, and will offer guests city skyline views rather than beach access. It’s not clear exactly how much of the existing property will be changed but at present, it offers an outdoor swimming pool, a gymnasium, spa and multiple dining options. A room in their Gold Coast branch: Voco aims to bring upscale individual and locally-branded hotels under the umbrella of an established hospitality banner, to give travellers unique properties combined with reliability. Inspired by the Latin term meaning "to invite", Voco Dubai will be the third property in the brand’s portfolio, with Voco Gold Coast in Australia and Voco St David’s Cardiff in Wales making up the trilogy. The properties aim to offer informal service paired with bold design that can work equally well both in cities and resorts. ______________________________ Read more: ______________________________
