A one-night stay at a four-star hotel, dinner for two and a taxi journey will set you back US$194 (Dh713) in the Hungarian capital over the next few months compared with London, the costliest city, at $518 (Dh1,903). Other bargain destinations for those with the dollar (or dirham) in their pocket include many cities in Asia: Hanoi in Vietnam costs $141 (Dh517); Bangkok in Thailand costs $162 (Dh595), to give two examples.
