After closing down for the summer, many of the UAE’s top attractions are preparing to reopen for the coming months, including Hatta Wadi Hub. The purpose-built facility is surrounded by the mountains and offers a whole host of adventure and activities, from downhill carting, zorbing, a human sling shot and axe throwing, to archery, free fall jumps, adventure rope courses, wall climbing and trampolining. It will officially reopen to visitors on Tuesday, October 1, offering the perfect opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the cooler weather. Alongside Hatta Wadi Hub, a number of Hatta's accommodation options will be reopening their doors for the winter season. Sedr Trailer Resort, Damani Lodges Resort and its luxury caravans will also begin welcoming the first guests of the season from Tuesday, October 1. Each resort offers a range of different accommodation types, with prices starting from Dh585 per night. Hatta is located just an hour-and-a-half’s drive from Dubai, and has gained a reputation as the UAE’s outdoor adventure destination. The exclave of the emirate sits on the border with Oman, and benefits from some fantastic natural scenery and a more laid-back pace of life than the UAE's big cities. The National's complete guide to Hatta can be found here.
