Filling up at an Adnoc petrol station could fuel your next Etihad holiday

A new partnership for loyalty members allows travellers to exchange Adnoc reward points for Etihad guest miles, and vice versa

With holidays on pause for many at the moment, the travelling most of us are doing is in our cars, whether commuting to the office, driving to the supermarket or heading to the mall at the weekend.

Now, you can use those daily drives to help fuel your next holiday, as Etihad and Adnoc have partnered to allow members of each company's loyalty programmes the chance to share reward points.

This new partnership allows members of Etihad's loyalty programme to turn their Adnoc reward points into guest miles with the national airline. For every 110 Adnoc rewards points, members will receive one Etihad guest mile.

These can be be used to pay for flights, upgrades, holidays and more.

And if travelling isn't on your immediate agenda, the offer also works the other way, with travellers who have existing Etihad guest miles being able to turn them into Adnoc reward points.

For every one Etihad guest mile, members will receive 20 Adnoc rewards points. These can be used for paying for car washes and purchases at convenience stores at petrol stations.

The partnership follows Adnoc and Etihad's Fuel Up and Fly Off campaign which gave people filling up at Adnoc pumps the chance to win return Etihad flights to various destinations.

“Etihad has been the flagship partner for our new loyalty programme, Adnoc Rewards, and through this new cross-redeemable points programme with Etihad Guest, we hope to offer members even greater rewards," said Mohamed Al Hashimi, chief operating officer at Adnoc Distribution.

“With more than 750,000 members, this unique proposition allows our loyal customers to access exclusive offers and benefits across all their journeys, whether that be on ground and in the air.”

Travellers can sign up to Etihad's guest member programme free of charge and registration for Adnoc rewards is also free and can be done at any service station or via the Adnoc app.
