Abu Dhabi Airports Duty Free launches home delivery service across the UAE

Just because you're not travelling doesn't mean you have to miss out on bargains

The number of people passing through airports around the world has dropped dramatically due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and restrictions put in place to curb its spread.

A side effect of that may well be that you have not been able to get your hands on any duty-free goods since the last time you travelled.

That will not be the case in the capital for much longer, however, as Abu Dhabi Airports Duty Free has launched a new home delivery service, allowing residents across the UAE to buy duty free products and have them delivered to their homes.

Much like traditional online shopping, customers can browse the range on the Abu Dhabi Duty Free website.

The selection includes skincare sets, cosmetics, fragrances, watches, toys and sunglasses. You can also buy classic duty-free food, so if you're craving a giant Toblerone, you know where to look.

Residents can register for an account and pay online, then their items will be delivered anywhere in the UAE by Aramex.

There is also an option to create a wish list, if you want to save your buys for a later date.
