TOKYO // Zolfe Sportz Company, a British boutique car maker, has unveiled its two-seater sports car, the Orange. Looking spookily like the offspring of a TVR and a Porsche 911 from the front and a 1970s Datsun 240Z crossed with an old Chevrolet Corvette from the rear, Zolfe hopes the Orange will become a class-leading sports car. The project has risen from concept to production-ready car in a shade under two years and is the brainchild of Nic Strong, a British entrepreneur, and Jez Coates, the former technical director of Caterham Cars. Zolfe expects to make 30 cars a year and the Orange will be priced at approximately £27,500 (Dh 153,250).
