Toyota’s new seven-seater SUV the Rush was launched in Dubai yesterday in the swanky surrounds of the Palazzo Versace hotel.
This is the first time that the Rush, which despite claims of class-topping ground clearance appears to be more of a “soft-roader” than a full-on dune-bashing warrior a la its big brother the Land Cruiser, will be available in the UAE.
It seems very competitively priced at Dh68,500 – the kind of money you would expect to usually pay for a small SUV, yet with three rows of seats, just like the aforementioned Land Cruiser, which costs from Dh215,900.
The rear-wheel-drive vehicle, which is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine and also features 17-inch alloy wheels, is on sale now.
