NORWAY // Think, the Norwegian manufacturer of two-seater electric cars, has escaped becoming the latest victim of the global downturn. In December last year, Think announced plans to expand in Europe and build a factory in the US, but weeks later production was halted. However, thanks to $47 million (Dh172.6 million) in new investment from the battery maker Ener1, Investinor, a venture fund, as well as a new deal with Valmet Automotive, the company is now able to move production to Finland where the City urban cruiser will be built alongside Porsche Boxsters and Caymans.
