No longer will baby drive parents mad
Parents everywhere know how a drive in the car can easily send their restless babies to sleep but a new product will provide that comfort for their little ones without ever having to leave the house. The Cruisin' Motion Soother is a means to send babies to the land of nod by mimicking the movements and sounds of a car. The novel chair was developed by Fisher-Price. Spokeswoman Sarah Allen said: "It has a motor in the base and the chair moves ever so slightly. The movements vary to match the same sensation as being in a car."
The chair goes on sale in July and will cost about Dh400.
Supercar baby seats
Can you imagine? You've just blown what most people spend buying a house on a new car and the only baby seats available clash with the leather upholstery you took weeks deliberating over. Fear not, however, because, if that new motor happens to be a Bentley, then the company will happily sell you a bespoke chair for your little one. Complete with an embroidered Bentley wings logo and your offspring's name, if you're really going to town. It's made from the same leather as the car's seats and can even be trimmed with the same piping.

Bling babies are keen on covers
For bling babies there's no other way to travel than to travel in style. And to do that, fashionable toddlers have to accessorise when it comes to their car seats. Sew Precious Baby is a US company that makes custom baby car seat covers, including this fetching fuchsia and Zebra print cover. Their covers fit both three and five-point harness systems and are machine-washable. If you don't see the colour and options you want on the company website, you can e-mail with your own ideas. The covers retail at about Dh240.
