If if you could wake up anywhere in the world, where would you be?
In my bedroom in Milan. This doesn’t happen very often!
What is your favourite hotel?
That’s difficult. I have some that I often visit and always feel at home. I like The Standard in NYC and Mondrian in LA a lot.
Which grooming product do you swear by?
Eyeliner and chapstick.
Where are your favourite shops?
Flea markets and concept stores such as 10 Corso Como in Milan, Opening Ceremony in New York, Colette in Paris and S*uce in Dubai.
In terms of quality or longevity of use, what has been your wisest-ever purchase?
My first Birkin bag. It is wonderful and timeless and it will always be in my wardrobe. I’ve dreamt of having one ever since I was a little girl.
Do you have regular go-to designers?
Chanel, Céline, Alexander Wang and Prada.
What, in your opinion, is the most overrated luxury?
Caviar. It’s expensive and I don’t really like it.
What is your most memorable fashion moment?
My first runway – Frankie Morello in 2010. I was sitting in the front row and it was amazing.
What new designers are you excited about?
MSGM from Italy and Zayan the Label from Dubai.
What is the most-played music on your iPod right now?
Daft Punk’s new album.
What’s your best piece of fashion advice?
When in doubt, a black dress.
What’s your biggest fashion no-no?
Flip-flops. I would never wear them.
what would your dream home look like and where would it be?
I would like a nice villa in Los Angeles. A simple one with a frontyard, backyard and a pool, of course. I love to spend my time outside, and the weather in California is so amazing. I would like to have a jacaranda tree close to my frontyard.
Which of this season’s trends are you loving? And which are you hating?
I like floral prints. Checked patterns also are very happening now. I don’t really like camouflage anymore, though.
How would you describe your style?
Unique and very personal. Every morning when I wake up I am inspired by a movie I have seen the day before, or a song, or by a girl I have seen on the street. I like to mix different styles and still be comfortable with everything that I wear.
What do you love most about fashion?
I love everything about fashion. It is my absolute favourite form of art and expression.
