This summer is shaping up to be one for the books when it comes to stylish beach and pool club takeovers, with chic spots across Europe and beyond playing host to some of the biggest names in fashion. It's a trend that has been gaining in popularity over the past few summers, but this year it is bigger and even more fabulous as clubs and pools join forces with brands to offer a fashionable summertime. Here are some of our favourites. Adding to an already impressive list of pop-ups across Nice, Puerto Banus and Athens, Dior has also taken over The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. Encompassing a spa residency plus the Bombon Pool Club, expect pool chairs, spa treatment rooms and cabanas reworked in the brand's famous toile de Jouy fabric in pink and white, to compliment the hotel dubbed the "Pink Palace". The One&Only Aesthesis in Athens has been transformed into a chic Balmain-esque space this summer, with loungers, cushions and umbrellas covered in its famous Labyrinth interlocking print. Launched at a party hosted by Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing, guests including Luke Evans, Liam Hemsworth, Chanel Iman, Kim Cattrall and Kylie Minogue kicked off what is going be a very cool summer at this coastal hideaway. Jacquemus has two sites this summer – one at Pampelonne beach in St Tropez and another at the Four Seasons Resort in the Bahamas, where it has taken over The Ocean Club for the summer. Here it has lent its deck chair stripes to sun loungers and parasols for a touch of French style at an already spectacular property. Known for its colourful, swirling prints, the Italian house of Pucci has taken its opulent aesthetic to Monaco's Les Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo wellness centre. Overlooking the Mediterranean sea, its famous spa and seawater pool have now been reworked in Pucci's distinctive, joyful patterning. The Gran Melia Mar Hotel on the Spanish island of Mallorca now boasts a new pool club, designed by the Italian designer Alberta Ferretti. Perched atop rocks overlooking the sea, the Bombon Pool Club has been designed with branded deck chairs and umbrellas, which are white edged with dark blue. The tie-up is a first for both sides, so expect an unhurried, easy-going feel. Loro Piana returns to La Reserve a la Plage in St Tropez for the second time with a pop-up store offering its resort collection. The restaurant has been given the quietest of upgrades via leather placemats and cushions, while the water side loungers and parasols carry the soothing Loro Piana tones of creams and russet browns. This summer Dolce & Gabbana has a host of beach clubs to choose from such as the Hotel Cala di Volpe, on Costa Smeralda in Sardinia or the Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa in the Hamptons, New York. Then there is La Cabane Beach Club in Marbella that has been transformed courtesy of the brand’s blue and white Majolica fabric now fashioned into towels, cushions and curtain drapes. Perfectly summery, the white and blue can be seen everywhere, but expect fights to get hold of the patterned rubber rings. Louis Vuitton is hoping to make a splash with its first-ever American take over, at the brand new MM Beach Club at the Casa Neos restaurant in Miami. Alongside a pop-up store, the sunbeds have been remade with logo-adorned fabrics in Miami-appropriate sunset colours, as the brand looks to impress its American clientele.
