Without special attention to skin preparation, your make-up is not likely to stay put when the temperature and humidity levels outside are high. Start with a good hydrating cleanser, then follow with a serum. Make sure to pat on to the skin so you push the product right into the cells rather than simply smoothing it over, and use a separate eye serum. A foundation primer - a colourless gel that helps create an even surface so the texture of skin appears smoother - will ensure that make-up stays fresher and lasts throughout the day. Avoid anything with pigment if you don't want to distort the colour of your make-up. <strong>Eyes</strong> Eye make-up has the tendency to cake, crease and even melt in heat and humidity, so make sure to apply a primer first.
