Huda Kattan is set to appear in Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's new Quibi series. The six-part show, About Face, will discuss business development and entrepreneurship in the beauty industry. American-Iraqi Kattan, 36, founded her eponymous make-up brand, Huda Beauty, in 2013. The beauty mogul expanded her portfolio with the launch of her Wishful skincare line earlier this year. A perfume brand, Kayali, was launched in 2016 in collaboration with her sister, Mona. In the series, Huntington-Whiteley will also be joined by Kylie Jenner; Glossier chief executive Emily Weiss; South Korean beauty influencer Park Hye-min, known as Pony Syndrome; celebrity make-up artist Sir John; and hairstylist to the stars, Jen Atkin. The show is set to launch on Monday, August 10. It is expected that the model will "get up close and personal with beauty industry trailblazers", giving insights into product breakthroughs and game-changing items. Quibi is an American short-form streaming platform, which launched in April this year. All of the shows on the mobile-first platform are fewer than 10 minutes per episode. Huntington-Whiteley's series was announced in December last year. The model is an executive producer on the show, alongside Lily Berg. Also working on the project is Alfred Street Industries, the production company behind Project Runway. Speaking about her months in lockdown in the run-up to the release of the show, the English model said: "It's been a bizarre time and challenging and eye-opening in many ways, but such is life, I suppose. "So I definitely have been spending a lot of time internally thinking about everything, and feeling very grateful for everything that I am fortunate enough to have." Quibi is also home to content from Chrissy Teigen, Idris Elba, Joe Jonas, Reese Witherspoon and Kevin Hart. The service costs $4.99 (Dh18) a month with advertisements and $7.99 for ad-free viewing. It is currently offering a 14-day free trial.
