Scandinavian design is an almost constant reference in House & Home and featured heavily in our end of year round-up of the <b>H&H writers' favourite things</b> , which you can read . <b>Pallavi Dean</b> , the interior designer and writer (who also co-styled the Address apartment), talked about her great finds at the Stockholm Design Festival, while <b>Selina Denman </b> recalled her trip to Copenhagen, where she was introduced to Muuto's current impeccable collection of furniture, lighting and accessories, such as their brilliant wooden anglepoise lamp, below. Muuto was founded just five years ago but it says something of the measure of their talent, dynamism and ambition that their products are now on sale in 800 shops on six continents and 10 of their designs are included in the permanent collection at . My own favourite thing of theirs is the <b>Bulky</b> tea set (below), which I spied and bought at last year's Index design show. With their curvy, cartoon-like design, the oversized cups are both comfortable and comforting to wrap your hands around, and affordable enough (from Dh95 per cup) to use every day.
