The announcement this summer that Damac
Properties is partnering with Versace on a residential project in Saudi Arabia
came as little surprise. Neither did the fact that the project was unveiled at
Harrods in London. If there's one thing we love in this part of the world, it's
a good brand association.
Both parties are on to a good thing.
This is a region where shopping is a national past time and designer brands are
a badge of honour. A designer home is a natural evolution... if you have the
watch, shoes and bag, why not buy the apartment too?
