With Christmas well underway, there have been some impressive decorations showcased on social media. But this year, a whole new decorating trend has emerged: doorscaping. Doorscaping is the art of turning your usually boring front door into a show-stopping entrance fit for Santa Claus and his elves to stroll through on the evening of December 24, if you don't have a chimney, of course. Proof that a simple wreath alone no longer cuts it, celebrities have been enlisting the services of florists and interior designers to create the most lavish doorscapes this festive period. However, if you're on a slightly less A-list budget, you can opt for oversized bows and home-made wreaths. And as there's still time to jazz up your front door for the big day, take your inspiration from these delightful doorscapes... The singer-turned-TV presenter showed off the hugely impressive results of her doorscaping, having stuck to a wintry white and silver colour theme. The British reality TV judge and presenter was sure to add plenty of locally sourced foliage and flowers for the entranceway to her Cotswolds home. The I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! winner, and wife of McFly musician, Tom Fletcher, showed off their front door which featured a rainbow array of colourful baubles. "And yes, @tomfletcher had put all the Christmas decorations up by the time I got back ... hardly surprising as this man is a huge lover of the festive season. I love them," she wrote on Instagram. The TV presenter gave a sneak peek at her front door, which featured plenty of foliage and fir tree branches, along with winter berries spray-painted in festive colours. The British Our Girl actress and her reality TV star husband, Mark Wright, shared this photo on Instagram of the front door to their Essex mansion. Light up candy cans, full-size Christmas soldiers and oversized baubles welcome visitors at the threshold. "It's 2020, and the rules have gone out the window!" she declared on social media. The TV and radio personality showed off the stunning decor around the front door of his London home. And Theakston, 50, gave a shout out to the team behind the doorscaping, writing: "Christmas has come early for the Theakston Household thanks to the amazing @earlyhoursltd. Thanks guys." The F1 heiress, who lives on one of London's most exclusive streets opposite Kensington Palace showed off the huge wreath that adorns the double doors to her West London mansion, accessorised with two real-life elves. ________________ Read more: Deck the halls: inside the Dubai home with a snowmaker and candy cane backyard 70 things to do in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates this December: from free foodie events to festive days out Home is where the hearth is: How these UAE residents created faux fireplaces ________________
