The countdown is on to Design Days Dubai, which kicks off on March 18 and will run through to March 21. The good news is that the kind folks at Design Days have agreed to provide 20 of our readers with free access to the show on March 18, the opening day. In addition to free entry and a free catalogue, the lucky 20 will also be personally welcomed by the fair's director Cyril Zammit, who'll offer a short introduction and answer any questions. Design Days Dubai will take place in a custom-made venue at the floor of the Burj Khalifa and is the first event in the region dedicated to collectable and limited edition objects. There'll be a whopping 400 stunning pieces to ogle at, and is a must-attend event for any design fan. And if you are looking to make an investment, there are objects worth anything from EUR500 (Dh2,424) to EUR350,000 on offer. Running alongside the exhibition are workshops, seminars and mentoring sessions by leading design personalities such as Nada Debs, Li Edelkoort and Rabih Hage. Opening hours on Sunday March 18 are 4pm to 10pm, and the meet and greet with Cyril Zammit will take place at 6.30pm. Tickets are available on a first come first served basis and readers can request a maximum of two. Email homes@thenational.ae to get yours now!
