We can confirm that the Scottish knitting sensation and textiles designer is just as lovely as her fabulous creations. The subject of this Saturday's <b><a href="http://bit.ly/resa6n">Designer Living </a></b> feature, London-based Donna talked to <b> Penny Malone </b> about her home life, favourite things and the very special person who inspired her to first take up her knitting needles. The Donna Wilson studio and label was set up in 2003, after the unique knitted toys (like this little fella called <b>Rill</b> , below) she made for her final show at the Royal College of Art sold out. These days, her collection of luxurious lambswool blankets, "curious cushions" (her words), rugs, pouffes, stationery and ceramics - is sold in 25 countries around the world and her signature charming, childlike designs which feature on many of her pieces has become instantly recognisable. You can tell from many of her designs (like her <b> Cloud Rain</b> cushion, below) that Donna is very much enthused and inspired by nature and "big open skies", and when she's not at work, she tells us that one of her favourite past-times is swimming outdoors in the rain. Something which we can only dream of...
