Zen the spa has officially opened its doors at Saadiyat Rotana, so whether it's a Turkish hammam treatment you're longing for, or you prefer to try the spa's signature Himalayan Pinks Stone Healing massage or Aroma Radiance Lift Facial, the spa is open from 10am to 10pm daily and has its own private entrance. Reel cool for the kids

There's a new cinema complex that's just opened at The Springs Souk in Dubai and it's all about the kids. The six-screen cineplex is the first of its kind in the region to include a Reel Junior kids screen. The set-up offers kids quirky bean bag seats and there's a special kiddie food combo that includes a selection of refreshments and healthy snack options and a separate party room with its own entrance and capacity for 40 people.

Picnic brunch in Ras Al Khaimah

If a visit to Ras Al Khaimah is on the to-do list, keep in mind that the Waldorf Astoria's picnic brunch concept is back for another season. Who doesn't want to spend a leisurely weekend afternoon on the beach or by the pool on a picnic blanket with the full spread. Well a visit to Dubai's Burj Al Arab is in order, with the hotel having introduced a creation they're touting as the "ultimate gold cappuccino". The elaborate drink - which comes with an equally elaborate Dh85 price tag - has 24-carat Italian gold blended into the "luscious" foam and is topped with gold flakes. You'll be richer for the experience, pardon the pun.
