A London Kebab shop with restaurants in the UAE has been crowned the number one place to eat in the UK capital according to TripAdvisor.
The German Doner Kebab's Fulham Broadway branch came first ahead of some 22,000 restaurants.
Out of 314 reviews, 294 were rated as excellent and 9 very good – the two highest indicators on TripAdvisor.
With a price range of only £2 to £10 (Dh9 to Dh45), the Fulham Broadway restaurant beat out competition from some of London’s more expensive and illustrious restaurants.
German Doner Kebab has 13 places to eat in London and 10 in the UAE – two in Abu Dhabi and eight in Dubai.
The company bills itself as a “gourmet food experience” with secret sauces that beats out its competitors. German Doner Kebab says its food “contains virtually no preservatives or additives and can be consumed day or night.”
"Londoners have been going mad for our kebabs, with our restaurants regularly queued-out during lunch and the evenings as people enjoy the great food and fast-casual dining experience," CEO Imran Sayeed told MyLondon.
On TripAdvisor the customer service, food, portion size and cleanliness of the restaurant were praised.
German Doner Kebab has branches across the UK and in Bahrain, the USA, Oman, Canada and Sweden.
