Taste of Abu Dhabi Festival Coming to Yas Island

Outdoor food festival Taste Of Dubai in Media City. Restaurants and food related businesses set up booths where they offer samples from their menu.

Save the date! The very first Taste of Abu Dhabi festival is coming to Yas Island from November 6 — 8 and we can’t wait.

The food festival will delight food-lovers across the region with international celebrity chefs and more than 50 exhibitors at Yas Island’s du Arena. The festival will showcase 15 signature restaurants in the capital, including Angar, Avasa, Cafe d’Alsace, Carluccio’s, Catch, McGettigan’s, Noodle Box, Turqoiz, Ushna, Villa Toscana and Blue Grill.

There will also be cooking activities for kids hosted by Funky Monkeys (as well as other kid-friendly fun such as slides and a bouncy castle).

There will be a live music stage, a chefs' theatre and a cookery school. Celebrity chefs Jun Tanaka, Eric Lanlard and Steven Edwards have already confirmed their attendance. Edwards won MasterChef: The Professionals in 2013.

Abu Dhabi is the 20th global destination to host a Taste festival. The Taste festivals first launched at London’s Somerset House in 2004. Taste of Dubai is already a popular food festival in the UAE so we have no doubt people will be lining up when Taste of Abu Dhabi opens its doors.

The festival will be held Thursday, November 6 through Saturday, November 8 at du Arena. From 4pm to 11pm on Thursday, Noon to 11pm on Friday and Noon to 10pm on Saturday.
