This Wednesday (20th) the Capital Club Dubai is holding the second in an ongoing series of festivals celebrating street food from all over the world. They kicked this concept off with an Indian food festival in May and now they're promising to take guests on a "whirlwind tour through the flavours of the Middle East". From the sound of the press release, the food being served is pretty standard fare - cold mezze items including hummus, fatoush, labneh and moutebel- with shawarma and lamb kebeh stations out on the terrace and Um Ali on the dessert menu. However, with the traditional Arabic music and belly dancer performing throughout, it could well be a relaxed, entertaining evening. Capital Club is in Gate Village Building 3, DIFC.
