Check out the new Butcha Steakhouse & Grill on The Beach, opposite JBR in Dubai.
This new restaurant, originally from Turkey, offers prime cuts of meat in a prime location. It’s the first certified restaurant in Dubai with the facilities to dry-age meat on site. The dry-ageing process takes 28 days, allowing natural enzymes in the meat to break down, enhancing flavour in the process.
You’ll find all the usual options at Butcha: tenderloin, bone-in rib-eye, Wagyu and porterhouse steaks; but you’ll also find unique Turkish dishes from Head chef Emre Gok.
There’s the shashlik, a marinated tenderloin with onion and peppers chargrilled on a skewer; sujuk, sausage patties with walnuts and pistachios; homemade Merguez sausages and more.
On the dessert side, try the poached pear in ginger, cinnamon and sour-cherry syrup, set atop Turkish candy floss.
The restaurant already has a strong following in Ankara and Istanbul but this is the first outlet outside Turkey.
Butcha is open from 11am to midnight from Saturday to Wednesday, and from 11am to 1am on Thursdays and Fridays. For more information, call 04 533 0684 or visit facebook.com/butchadubai.
