They tied the knot in a lavish affair last month but Rio Ferdinand and Kate Wright have mostly kept quiet about their Turkish wedding – until now. The former professional footballer and reality TV star exchanged vows in Marmaris at the end of September in a ceremony attended by friends and family. However, the couple have this week shared previously unseen photographs from their celebrations, with one particular famous face in attendance. Ferdinand and Wright held a pre-wedding brunch at Marmaris's Nusr-Et Steakhouse, which is run by internet sensation, Nusret Gokce. The chef, who is known by his popular nickname Salt Bae, joined the couple at the restaurant, where he was pictured alongside the soon-to-be newlyweds in an image shared by Wright. "Reminiscing on the best brunch with our family and friends," the 28-year-old, who starred on show The Only Way is Essex, captioned her Instagram post. The image shows Wright and Ferdinand, 40, alongside the butcher, who has branches of his namesake restaurant in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as New York, Miami, Mykonos and more. Gokce rose to fame back in 2017, after clips of him theatrically carving meat and flamboyantly sprinkling salt at his steakhouses went viral. The internet star even taught former Manchester United player and TV pundit Ferdinand his signature pose during the pre-wedding party. The 40-year-old sports star tried his hand at sprinkling seasoning on a prime cut in a video posted to his Instagram account on Monday. Ferdinand wed his long-term partner Wright in the D Maris Bay hotel on Friday, September 27, just shy of a year after the two got engaged during a family holiday in Dubai.
